“A form of magical residue cannot simply die,” Aisu explained, walking around him. “It only disappears for a short amount of time, then reappears with a new task. My new task is to kill you, then controlling my lovely other to destroy almost everything in our way.” The white haired girl finished with a smile on her face.

“Angel, however, is tucked neatly somewhere you won’t find her.”

Gajeel glared at Aisu. He was sick of her and sick of Angel getting hurt. This time, he welcomed the change as his more sadistic side showed up.

His glare became a smirk and he flashed his teeth at the girl. He chuckled at her.

“You’re going to kill me? Really?” he said. “Cause that worked for you before.” In the back of his mind he was turning over an earlier statement she had said. Magical residue? Does that mean Aisu is just magic? Then she can’t be killed. She’s gotta be destroyed. Permanently. But how? God, Angel, how the hell did you get stuck with this?

“It will add you to persons on this mission and make sure you are the correct person to give you your new gear. It will also do a whole lot of other things, but it’s all very technical.” She said with a small smile. The scan finishes and Jet’s head appears back in the box.

“Redfox, Gajeel. Agent 55206 access to gear and voice link command recognized. Verification from lead Technical Backup Agent Levy McGarden required before gear can be dispensed.”

“Authorization code 0340, Levy McGarden verifies this is Gajeel Redfox. Dispense all gear for current mission.” Levy confirmed walking over to the box and tapping it with her finger in a patterned way. The box started to open, becoming much bigger than it should be. Inside where a whole lot of small gadgets and every day looking items. “Ok then let’s get you all set up.” She said smiling.

Gajeel felt strange as he looked over the gadgets in the box. He wasn’t used to having anything more than his own two fists and maybe a knife in case of a fight. Now Levy was talking about miniscule cameras, microphones, tracking devices. It all went right over his head. He hated that he didn’t know what these things were or how to use them.

“Why do I need all this? And what would I even use them for?” he finally asked, interrupting the bluenette. He could feel her annoyance as he scratched his head, refusing to look up at her from the pile of gadgets she had assembled.

Angel was cold. Freezing cold. She knew she wasn’t where she wanted to be. 

“Ah, Your awake, My love.” Aisu sat in front of her. 

“I killed you! What the fuck are you doing here?!” Angel tried to scream, but her mouth was covered by something. The brunette struggled, trying to get free, but the ice restraints held her tight. Okay, now she panicked. 

“Don’t worry, My dear! I’m not going to hurt you! I’m only going to kill that dreaded Iron Slayer! And then, I can control you. We can do anything.” And so Aisu set out to find him.

Gajeel was still following Angel’s scent when he felt himself being watched. He whiled around and saw her. He stopped and stared, his guard going up. “How the hell are you here? You’re supposed to be dead!” he yelled at Aisu. He thought for a moment then glared at her. “What did you do to Angel?” he growled.
